MethodHow KPMO works

Structure before spend

A work breakdown structure that every invoice, consent condition and contract line codes back to. Built first, not retrofitted when the reporting starts to hurt.

One source of truth

Forecast and actual in the same model, at every tier. Where the client has no system, I build one — a council’s SAP-linked reporting spine, or PowerCAPEX where many funders, many buckets and many projects defeat the tools on the market.

No surprises

Funders, councillors and developers get the same numbers on the same day. Trust compounds; it is also the cheapest form of risk management available.

Guiding the team

Client-side, not consultant-side. The role is to hold scope, cost, consent and programme together when each specialist is optimising only their own.

EngagementFor procurement & panels

Retained

Principal’s representative or programme manager on a monthly retainer.

Fixed scope

A business case, a plan change programme, a submission, a cost model, a site model. Scoped up front and charged at an hourly rate — no lump-sum work.

Associate

Inside a consultancy’s team or on a panel. Your template, my evidence. Two-page CVs: Programme delivery CV (PDF) · Intelligence & investigation CV (PDF). Your own format on request.
